Die Free Co: The Origin Story

Die Free Co: The Origin Story
Where Grit from A Bygone Era Meets Dad-Level Gumption

Picture it: a New Hampshire garage that smells like CLP, burnt coffee, and a hint of sawdust from yesterday’s half-finished home project. The television, it was always on, hums the theme song of a relic killer mustache, the shortest of shorts, and a fire engine red Ferrari 308 GTS as a bearded dude in Vans sneakers adjusts a new prototype with the same precision he used to assemble his kid’s bike last weekend. He’s dreaming of better gun parts for shooters who want the best to protect their family as well as something that will last the longest of range days all while looking rad as hell.

Welcome to Die Free Co.

We’re a tight-knit crew forged in the fires of the firearms industry. Our resumes trace through the halls of Sig Sauer, the precision corridors of Accuracy International, and the wild, world-changing think tank known as Q. Over the last several years, we’ve been the quiet professionals behind the scenes—consulting, designing, improving, and pushing boundaries. But all along, the same question kept popping up in our heads:

"What if we did it our way?"

Not some bloated corporate roadmap. Not a watered-down compromise. Just us—building what we believe in, how we want to build it.

So, we finally stopped asking what if—and started building.

That’s not to say we’ve turned our backs on our roots. We still consult for industry partners we deeply respect. In fact, if you or someone you know is wrestling with a product development bottleneck or just needs a creative spark with real-world experience, we’d be honored to step in. We like being the behind-the-scenes horsepower that helps bring other people’s visions to life.

Why “Die Free Co”?

Simple. We're headquartered in New Hampshire—the “Live Free or Die” state. And for us, that’s more than a clever slogan on a license plate or something you shout before riding a minibike off a homemade ramp (not that we’ve done that or anything). It's a reminder to chase purpose, not permission. We live free, build free, and if we have our way, we’ll die free too. Plus, let’s be honest—it sounds sick.

Right now, we sell some well thought out and no-BS performance parts. They're built with purpose, for people who actually use this stuff. Tomorrow? Who knows. Maybe we’re prototyping the next evolution of small arms support. Or maybe we’re just tuning up the new neighbor's chainsaw while spitballing the future of weapon design.

We’re not here to get rich or get famous. We’re here to make cool things, partner with good humans, and leave the industry better than we found it. So if you’re down with that—we’d love to have you along for the ride.

Die Free Co.
We're not trying to be the biggest. Just the most us.
