Contrary to popular belief, not everybody was Kung Fu fighting. But you're with DFCO, so we know you get down.

Designed for AR15/M4 and AR10/SR25 platforms, the Kung Fu Grip has a reduced angle providing a natural fighting posture when firing from modern standing and prone positions.  It improves comfort when installed on firearms with a shorter length of pull, but feels right at home on standard LOP platforms as well.

The 12º angle brings the average person's hand, wrist, and forearm in line with one another, alleviating tension on the ulnar nerve and increasing freedom of movement of the hand and fingers compared to other grips. The enhanced finger groove allows for a repeatable purchase on the grip and further reduces hand fatigue by discouraging the shooter from white knuckle gripping.

"But where's the Stoner Grip?!"

The KFG is the next iteration of our Stoner Grip.  We've made several ergonomic and aesthetic improvements over the original and went away from the grip tape.  We also invested in a production mold to improve quality control and reduce the cost, which we thought you'd appreciate.

Awesome Grip Angle, A Little Short for Giant Hands

Posted by Jay on 6th Jun 2024

Prior to my discovery of the Kung Fu Grip, my favorite grips were B5 Type 23s -- the right height and the right thickness (and the right price), but the grip angle was still a bit uncomfortable for me. Having received my new Kung Fu Grips, I'm very pleased overall. The Kung Fu Grips are the right thickness and the grip angle is far superior to any other grip I've tried (including the user-adjustable offering from Strike Industries). My ONLY complaint about the Kung Fu Grip is the height (you could probably call it length) of the grip. This will not be an issue for the majority of users, but if you're built like me, you may find the grips feel just a hair short. For reference, I'm 6'6 with wide/thick/meaty XL-XXL hands. While I can fit all fingers on the grip, my palm hangs off quite a bit past that; it's not a deal breaker, but if my hands were any wider, I'd probably be (close to) hanging the pinky. Practically speaking, does this really matter? No, and it isn't enough of an issue to keep me from using the grips (I ordered 3 so far); the benefits outweigh the minor annoyance, which is really what it is -- just something that minorly bugs me. Most notably, I have a 6'10 wingspan, and this is the first grip I've used that doesn't cause some degree of wrist discomfort when running an AR. If there was a longer/taller variant (if only 1/4 or 1/2" taller), this would be a perfect product.

If You Don’t Know, Now You Know!

These are going on all my rifles. I’m a Glock/Milwaukee grip angle guy for pistol and tools, but DFCO nailed it for short LOP rifles and long guns. The Kung Fu grip is ready for action. Can’t wait to see what you guys cook up next!

King Fu Grip for AR Platform

Posted by John Merz on 4th Jun 2024

I have been a die hard Magpul Fan since I really got into AR Style Firearms. So everything on my AR’s has been Magpul and I am not sure why I decided to try out the Kung Fu Grip, but I did and all I can say is that I am impressed with the grip since I opened the package. I pulled off my Magpul K+ Grip off of my #1 AR and put the Kung Fu Grip on and threw it up to my shoulder and instantly I now know why I took the chance at something besides Magpul. The grip angle and the finger notch made my wrist and hand in perfect alignment with my AR and I had better access to my safety and trigger. I was able to grip the entire grip and not just the top of the grip as I did with the K+ Grip. Crappy part now is that I have to invest a small fortune to change out my AR Collections grips to the Kung Fu Grip. Best feeling grip I have ever felt on an AR.

This is my second order. I have one in black and Grey. I will be ordering the other two colors. The grip angle is very comfortable, texture and quality is amazing. It will not disappoint! Price can't be beat!

What I thought I never needed!!!

Posted by Anthony Fanfan on 28th May 2024

About 2 years ago I was injured giving a stranger CPR for over 35min. In the mean time I've been through 4 surgeries and PT. I can no longer hold my AR correctly and the pain that it causes ment I had to find another way. I saw this featured in a Brownells YouTube video ( Thanks to Caleb) . Unfortunately they've been out of stock for a while. I went to your site , places 2 grips on backorder. In a short time they were in stock and shipped. I immediately installed the grip on one rifle and could immediately feel a total improvement. I then took the AR to the range and that was the proof in the pudding! These grips work . My wrist stays straight and the grip texture is on point. Thank y'all so much. This is my go to grip from now on.

After searching for months and trying many grips for my rifle I found this one and it has to be the most comfortable grip I’ve ever tried!
